This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all persons and entities (collectively, "you", "them", "clients" or "customers") using the products and services of SeedVPS. This policy is designed to protect the security, integrity, reliability, and privacy of both the SeedVPS network and the products and services SeedVPS offers to its customers. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.
SeedVPS reserves the right to modify this policy at any time, effective immediately upon posting of the modification. Your use of SeedVPS products and services constitutes your acceptance of the Acceptable Use Policy in effect at the time of your use. You are solely responsible for any and all acts and omissions that occur during or relating to your use of the service, and you agree not to engage in any unacceptable use of the service.
1. Prohibited Uses
In this policy, "Services" means any product or service supplied by SeedVPS, and "Third Party Services" means any software, licence, control panel, or service supplied by a third party and resold or made available through SeedVPS, including but not limited to cPanel licences and operating system images.
The following list provides a number of general prohibited uses of the Services and/or Third Party Services that are violations of this policy. Please note that the following list does not represent a comprehensive or complete list of all prohibited uses.
Unlawful activities
The Services and/or Third Party Services shall not be used in violation of any criminal, civil, or administrative violation of any applicable local, state, provincial, federal, national, or international law, treaty, court order, ordinance, regulation, or administrative rule. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Unlawful gambling activities
- Threats, harassment, and abuse of any individual, organization, or business
- Fraudulent activities
- Terrorist websites or other sites advocating human violence and hate crimes based upon religion, ethnicity, or country of origin
- Unlawful high-yield investment plans, Ponzi schemes, or linking to and/or advertising such schemes
- Child pornography
- Unsolicited email ("SPAM")
- Email bombing
- Proxy email
- UseNet SPAM
- Hacking
- Threatening material or content
- Violation of intellectual property rights
- Distribution of malware
- Phishing
- Violation of agreements relating to Third Party Services
- Denial of service (DoS/DDoS)
2. Reporting Violations
SeedVPS accepts reports of alleged violations of this policy via email sent to abuse@seedvps.com. Reports of alleged violations must be verified and include the name and contact information of the complaining party, the IP address or website allegedly in violation, and a description of the alleged violation.
SeedVPS will comply with and respond to valid subpoenas, warrants, and/or court orders. If permitted by applicable law, SeedVPS will forward such subpoenas, warrants, and/or orders to customers to respond; however, SeedVPS reserves the right to respond directly.
